土という素材を用いて制作をすることを通じて自然とのつながりを感じられることが生活の大切な一部となり、自然の風景や日常で感じたことを作品に表現することを試みている。現在は″日常に寄り添うもの″ をテーマに、主に壁掛け、花器、器、陶函などの作品を制作している。

Riko Omata
Being able to feel a connection with nature through creating objects by using material of soil has become an important part of my life, and I am trying to express what I felt in the natural scenery and everyday life in my work. Currently, I mainly produces works such as wall hangings, vases, and pottery boxes under the theme of “things that are close to everyday life.”
